Born  26^th Oct. 1971, lives and works in New Delhi ,India

Mithu Sen received both her bachelors (1995) and master’s degree(1997) from Visva Bharati university in Santiniketan , India .in 2000 she received a Charles Wallace India Trust(CWIT) fellowship to study at the Glasgow school of art in Scotland ,UK for one year.

Mithu received the SKODA award 2010 for the best contemporary artist in India.
